Over the last week or so, my electronic desktop has undergone a bit of an overhaul, and I owe a lot of that down to the influence and inspiration of minimalmac.com. My physical desktop has always stayed the same, with the downlighters undeneath my shelf to light my working space, and nothing on my desk but my MacBook, my Might Mouse, and my Speakers.
As a journalism student at university, it helps me a great deal to have a clear electronic desktop as well as a clear physical desktop. In terms of my electronic desktop, Unplugged has replaced the battery status in my menubar, I couldn’t really do without Finder, the clock, or iScrobbler (a lightweight version of last.fm’s Audio Scrobbler).
